  • You say some are apathetic and lazy, you’re demoralized and hold that against them. That’s exactly what the ghouls in power want. They stole something from those people. Be it the time, the money, the knowledge, to stand up against evil. But you’re blaming the individual.

To be clear, I’m still mostly blaming the ghouls in power. They are the true evil. I’ve not forgotten that.

But I do hold those who had the ability to vote and didn’t responsible. I’m sure a fraction of that 1/3rd was legitimately voter suppressed, but I’d be shocked if it were more than 20% of them. I know that’s a thing, but I really don’t think it explains most of those who didn’t vote.

I personally think it’s totally fair to hold those people accountable. Yes, we’ve all got shit going on and life is stressful. For most elections that excuse would be more than enough. But it was impossible to be uniformed going into 2024. It was impossible to not know exactly who Trump was and what he was pushing for.

I actively tried to disengage from all political information and effectively found that to be hopeless. Trump’s every move was reported on and talked about and joked about everywhere and no matter how you tried to curate things, he infiltrated anyway. Only the most hermit in the woods type people could call themselves truly uniformed.

It was clear to basically every American that this was a battle for democracy and we utterly failed to show up.

So yes, they aren’t as bad as the people literally carrying out the destruction of our country, but that does not absolve them of all blame. They are collaborators, by either active support or tacit acceptance.

I mean 1/3 voted for this and another ~1/3 couldn’t be bothered to show up to vote at all in 2024 after everyone knew exactly who he was and what he wanted so… As an American all I can take from that is that most of us are either for it or simply don’t care one way or the other.

I no longer believe my fellow countryman are good people. They are at best, dangerously apathetic and lazy and at worst they are actively happy all of this is occurring. Or at least 2/3rds of them are.

  • Listening to her, I think you’re thinking of the section immediately before what I’m thinking of, the first person shooter part of the video. I’m talking about the section immediately after that that has the girl on a big stage backed by a giant ring light that flashes to the beat. The song slows down then and has a really catchy beat to it that I’ve always loved.

  • Then there’s me, I have a song that has ~30 seconds out of the song that’s absolutely banger, but it’s one of those songs that’s constantly shifting vibes so the rest of the song is just ok.

I’ve been searching for anything that would give me a full song’s worth of that 30 second section for years but never really found anything that fits.

The song is: Me!me!me! - daoko feat. Teddyloid - specifically the section between 4:57-5:27. Music video is highly nsfw FYI

  • It’s so if we’re ever sued over anything then we’ve only got 6 months of history that we’re liable for during discovery.

Lawyers figured out it was a nightmare going through 20+ years of emails, so the ‘solution’ was simply to just not keep records for very long.

Technically you can archive important emails, but they’ve made that harder and harder to do and it’s not always like you know what’s going to be important later, so it’s really easy to not save something you should have.
