The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive military plans, said two infantry battalions of the Army’s 11th Airborne Division have been given prepare-to-deploy orders. The unit is based in Alaska and specializes in operating in arctic conditions.

      I agree. People think I’m a pacifist. No, I’m a realist. They want guns and chaos so they can do what you said. LA and Minneapolis have been doing amazing keeping this under control and peaceful. I’m so thankful for them.

        the problem is that, on the path we’re currently on, if nothing changes, we end up like china or russia or even worse, under complete control of the state, no freedom of speech, no freedom of the press, every word you say scrutinized, people disappearing without a trace, no due process, no “innocent until proven guilty”-- all of that shit we’ve grown up with and taken as a given in life–goes away.

        or we may end up like iran-- trying to fight for change, and getting massacred by our own government.
