The UK government, MPs, organisations and public figures are discussing whether there should be stronger rules about children’s access to social media - including an Australia-style ban for under-16s.

    Im for it myself. Honestly wouldn’t mind a ban on algorithmic based news given the state that America is in.

    I’m starting to see social media as smoking. It’s bad for you. Give up

        Kids growing up being able to see porn on demand is also a horrible idea. Arguably a more horrible idea.

        The onus is on us to provide a solution to that if we want to remove ID checks from websites that serve adult material. Which currently is porn but could be easily expanded to social media.
