Because you are looking at it from the destination. People from across that field all want to reach that point you’re at and their paths gather like rivers flowing together.

Isn’t it beautiful how they join? They could be straight but chose to combine.
You paint a pretty narrative. But sadly it is one path splitting into 2 and not 2 combining into one. The right fork has been there for over 10 years and the left one is younger than 2 years.
