At best, I have toyed around with it and it’s mostly messing around with effects plugin on Soundtrap mostly for fun. Other than that, I don’t know how to exactly make a good beat.
Also does people still use LMMS as I mostly use Linux instead of Windows?
I have had a great deal of success using Ardour, a free and open source DAW. If you need to simulate guitar effects, you can use guitarx, a free and open source solution for that. I don’t really know how to tell you to get started with that except to say you should install it and give it a poke. There are some good tutorials online in written and video form.
