Free speech will be used to spread disinformation and fake news.
But it also will be used to spread sound information and hard truths.
Unfree speech, on the other hand, will only be used to spread whatever disinformation and fake news serves the purposes of whoever manages to gain control of the authority under which it’s made unfree.
That’s the real version, not the selective version preferred by the politicians and states

What the actual fuck? This is scary af. I was taught the importance of freedom of speech in school--and this is the exact reason the First Amendment exists. I suppose that’s been quietly dropped from the curriculum?
