There was a field like this near me
Tons of wild flowers and bees. Deep desire path which was so well trodden the weeds didn’t overtake it like this. I would see foxes and rabbits when I walked through in the early morning.
It’s a parking lot now. With a fence around it so you can’t wander through. It makes me sad.

Looks like an inexpensive motel. If so, I assume that path leads to the nearest purveyor of beer and snacks.

Not sure why, but as soon as I saw the photo, I knew it’s an apartment building in East Germany.

Well it is in Eastern Germany so…
As a gentle reminder, desire paths are evidence of the want and the ability to go in the most direct path. But people without that ability cannot leave a desire path to express their wants.
Do not forget that people with disabilities also have wants, and advocate that desire paths be upgraded so that the desire can be satisfied for everyone.
This would be a paved walkway.
yeah, i did not make the offroadest decision when getting my trike, i made the most affordable decision when getting my trike. i can still take that path, but it’s slow. and bumpy. and eats up way too much battery.
i can get an offroad trike next trike.
