Also, this post is about Lemmygrad.ml, not Lemmy.ml, but it seems OP got them confused (most refer to Lemmygrad.ml as Grad, and Lemmy.ml as .ml). Lemmygrad.ml is the biggest Marxist-Leninist specific instance on Lemmy.
The meme itself just supports existing socialism, so the opposition to a vague meme is similarly general in target. Further, OP is a frequent transphobe and bigot, you can check OP’s modlog.
If there is no other context, it does seem like he is implying that all socialism is ruled by dictators. And yes, I’ve seen the modlogs and saw the transphobe comment on just the first page. Quite the icky guy to deal with.
At the same time, the modlogs also shows I’m still not a fan of how the ml instance does moderation, since some of the comments didn’t seem remove worthy. Ah well, I’ll just tag this guy as a shit-stirring transphobe and move on.
