My current workflow if I need to use notepad, is open the file, to into the settings page, expand the font section, select a different font, close the settings page for it to apply the font, reopen the settings page, expand the font section, select Consolas font, close the settings page.
What the actual fuck. The only reason I’d ever used notepad was because of the fixed-width typefaces.

I have notepad++. I just meant thats the workflow if I have to use regular notepad.
If I had a choice I wouldn’t use Windows at all, but sometimes you just gotta work with what you have.
And sometimes you install Linux on your Microsoft Surface and life improves.
When must you use notepad with no other options?
