After an unexpected price hike, the TrimUI Brick Hammer Pro U may have a hard time standing out against Retroid and AYANEO rivals this summer.

While definitely disappointing, at least we’re getting some clarity as to why, along with pricing and availability details being shared. However, with the Retroid Pocket Nova starting at $229 for the 8GB and $269 for the 12GB, and the AYANEO Pocket MICRO 2 being formally introduced tomorrow morning, I can’t help but feel like the TrimUI Brick Hammer Pro U is essentially “dead on arrival.”
