Stop it there… If only it were so easy. Too bad there’s a lot of backdoor policies & negotiations going on with big tech’s influence.
I think we have to do both. Bans/restrictions to prevent immediate harms (or at least attempt to), and regulation to prevent future harms.

Better digital literacy, parental involvement, and platform accountability are likely to be more effective than outright bans.
