Since 2020, firearms are the leading cause of death for children and adolescents in the US between the ages of one and 19, ahead of car accidents and poisoning, according to researchers.

Did you read the article? He and others stopped a pedophile from getting his hands on a young girl. Allegedly, the pedophile was the one who escalated to violence in both charging at the victim and stabbing a defender.

The article does not state why the other teen shot him. Why are you assuming the worst?

I can’t help but think showing no compassion towards the inability of a child to radically alter the state of the environment in which they are raised to meet your set of values may be an opinion best kept to yourself.

Neither article indicates Da’Jon escalated the situation. You simply do not have enough information to conclude that without drawing from your own biases. I also notice you only denounce the child’s “violence”, omitting that of the police and the pedophile himself.

Hayes-Burr heard Stasel’s cries and – with other teenage boys – confronted the man, who was later identified as 45-year-old Vasilis Sakellardis, WLKY reported.

Sakellardis allegedly tried to charge Stasel but was thrown to the ground by Hayes-Burr and the other boys. A tussle ensued while Stasel and her daughter kept walking, and Sakellardis evidently stabbed Hayes-Burr before police reportedly tackled the attacker and arrested him

Which part of the article indicates he (Hayes-Burr) was the one to escalate it to violence?

Why are you commenting about that after they died defending a girl from sexual assault

I don’t talk about the complicity of the west in global warming when my friends send me pictures of the extremely dangerous air quality in north america from all the wild fires, they can’t control that, they’re nice and they’re suffering

Why are you bringing this up when that teen died defending a women

          Fucking asshole

To be clear, he was shot sometime after the incident where he defended the girl, reason unknown. But I agree with your sentiment.

Idk i think your comment makes perfect sense, the rest are getting angry because they don’t understand it maybe. You’re not assuming anything negative about the victim, just noting that it’s quite the shame his life was marked by violence, and it’s a microcosm of the problems we face as a nation with violence that our children have no choice in participating in.

      What a complete moronic take.

Go sell your brain on eBay, you’re not using it anyway
