Too much faith “AI” will provide reproducible results on the reason “terraform is no longer relevant”.

I guess its a universal feeling, glad I’m not alone in thinking the research is as useful as the answer. I’m still wondering how LLMs will fare once some the people that would write detailed deep dives stop doing so, not even mentioning the massive amount of slop blogs out there now in the training data. Surely its a race to the bottom.

Unrelated to code, but still relevant: due to having to read about the importance and origin of chicken before getting a simple temperature and time chart for oven cooking, I’ve gone back to paper recipes and referencing those old cookbooks.

iOS devices are pretty horrible at keeping a background task going unless apple owns it. Probably why they can get great battery life, but also seems pretty anti competitive. Not even google’s photo backup works well unless you manually open the app once in a while.

The whole point is that the economies of scale don’t work to pay your staff and fixed costs at lower numbers. The damage is nonreversible, like economy studies show when you have uncertainty on the market.

For sports bars with event nights it is kind if useful, so you don’t feel like you’ve missed the entertainment. I’ve only seen TVs like that on the waiting area of a casino bathroom once though.
