I am the last one to claim that adhd is not a disability, because i have to fight that freaking flipper machine of a brain daily in order to do things i want to do, but the bad comes with good and i think some changes in everyday processes and expectations would benefit a lot of people no matter if they are neuro-divergent or ordinary brained.

so no, “chemical inbalance” is not the end of the story, neither for treating adhd nor for society being able to utilize it’s people to the best of their abilities in a sustainable fashion.
