Artists and intellectuals need copyright nowdays because those jobs usually lead you to starvation under capitalism (no, i dont consider academics as a good example of intellectuals). And history is full of irony, because it will probably be capitalism that will take copyright down because its an obstacle to developing AI
I think people nowdays are unable to understand sarcasm anymore
And people wonder why their birthrate is plummeting
