Actually there is very much an overrepresentation of queer men in fraternities, and even more in fraternity leadership. During my undergrad I’d say about 20% of fraternity men were queer. From talking to other fraternity men across the country, that number seemed to be pretty universal. If you start looking at Executive board members that number starts to rise to probably 30-40%.

Don’t get me wrong, lots of things about fraternities are disgusting, and I am not sure they deserve to exist TBH. But they are often a refuge for awkward closeted gays.

My dog is afraid of trains which is occasionally inconvenient for traveling somewhere far as we live car free.

If I had just paired his vaccines with Tylenol he would have instead been able to identify the year and model of every locamotive 🚂 and seek them out like he does now with french fries. 🍟
