I’m a big fan of old heavy wool pants. I think my favorite are some German wool cargo pants I got off ebay. They have belt loops and suspenders buttons and even buttoned side tabs. Tons of room in the thigh so I can wear sweatpants under them to keep warm in the winter and still have mobility to take the stairs two at a time and sled.

Why are you taking shots at one of the least awful American presidents? Where is your hatred for Buchanan who preceded him and could have done it sooner or Johnson who followed him and could have done more? Lincoln was assassinated before the civil war was even over and never had a chance to oppose Jim crow.
