My personal belief is that our two party system is a failure. It leads to the “least of two evils vote” mindset where the two parties know you don’t have any realistic options other than what youre given. That’s how we got bush voted in and a harris attempt. He villainized intelligence, shamed empathy, prioritized overt aggression, and celebrated blind trust while calling these actions patriotism. He rallied people around their struggles, turned that into hate and blame, then told them to vote for him and he’ll fix it all. All while having a detailed track record of exactly opposite of that.
