4 months agoWhat is the best place for news? I feel like Lemmy is where I get my news. I’m wondering if I should be paying for a news service like ground news or something. These journalists should be paid for the work they do, and I feel like I’m not doing that as of right now. I’m using Adnauseum, so technically every ad is getting clicked then blocked, so the site may actually get some ad revenue, but I’m wondering if a paid news service is the right thing to do. If Apple news is wrong, and Google news is wrong, what is right? Or perhaps what is least wrong?
I have never heard the phrase “everything you like about life is a market inefficiency” before, and I think it is simultaneously horrifying and accurate and my life is now a little worse. I don’t know what to do with this info, but I feel I need to share it
