It says the batteries are in 10 shipping containers. One TEU containers has an internal volume of 33 cubic metres, so 330 in total.

Even a small two-storey, four-unit apartment building is around 1000 cubic metres in total volume, so the batteries are only about a third of an apartment building at most.

Are there methods of browsing/usage that could be used to reduce load on the servers? In particular, I’m wondering about stuff like subscribing to communities on other instances. I don’t know much about ActivityPub, but assume subscribing to federated communities via a given server result in increased network/storage requirement on that server, to pull the external posts and comments?
