Not always, but sounds like in this case it seems plausible
They didn’t like being excluded all the time so they moved to the us east coast is all.

So this is just Google punishing you?
TIL telling a bitch to get stuffed is not rude in Australia.

PixelUnion originates from the Netherlands as well, i guess that’s why they felt like writing about it. The relevancy is there, but i agree the writer didn’t really achieve to convey that.

The cabinet decided to block the takeover of Solvinity the company that manages the infrastructure behind DigiD by the American IT company Kyndryl.
The cabinet is getting waaay to much credit here, they initially wanted to go through with the deal. It wasn’t until major public backlash, multiple experts putting their jobs on the line by going on television saying how bad an idea this was and an official committee strongly advising against it that cabinet changed their mind and chose to block the takeover. They were sitting their pants because of how the US would respond. Had they acted earlier, this could’ve gone much smoother: they could’ve just ended the contract at the company that’s being taken over, move the data to another company that isn’t being taken over. Or even better, they could have ordered to move the infrastructure in-house instead of having some commercial party handle the security of the population it’s most sensitive data.

Rip all USAian cucks, may your future be brighter than your past.

The paper is printed and transported, a data center meant for storing data handles much more data than that of a collage. You make a fair point, but the paper vs paperless debate isn’t that simple.
TIL American sign language requires clean fingers
Not untrue, but have to say your average racist Brit doesnt sound much like your average racist American.

It’s not either or, the article even states the following:
The rules-based trading system is “being undermined by a variety of actors and the rise of unfair trade practices,” the group agrees.

AI overviews should be opt-in, not opt-out
I have found them useful from time to time, i turned them off because I know where to find the switch button and for environmental reasons it would be way better to force this on everyone - but knowing a lot of people might not find this button, or even look for it, i could also see how some users might be lured (back) to the big tech alternative.
Also for us a box where you type in a search query is different as a box where you start a conversation, but i think this difference will only grow smaller - just like how desktop web pages changed appearance because of mobile-first design. Not saying you have to like it of course, but i can see the business decision here choosing growth over principles. Them getting a bigger market share is, imo, more important than them having a small carbon footprint.
Bot was definitely meant literally here

I’d expected him to care more whether i want to continue paying for his product though

Isn’t basically all of Africa and Asia supporting his arrest? I feel this map made every country not part of the western world grey, as in ‘we dont now the data or don’t care about it’.
Found one cock instead
Here in America, I’m not afraid of the pickpockets or petty theft. The biggest threats to my family’s life are by police officers or ICE, all because of the color of their skin.
Feels like that should have been bold, so here you go:

It’s a lot like Great British bake-off sure, but it’s not like they show the cakes are shat out after tasting it, so i’m not sure how that is part of the comparison.
