For those concerned by this turn of events, this is a list of other software that has met a similar fate.

I’m not familiar with the development situation there, but that’s unfortunate. Maybe some of our talented solarpunks could lend their programming skills to making HedgeDoc 2.x a reality?

HedgeDoc seems like more of a replacement for Etherpad, with Cryptpad being “overkill” in terms of features, but I’d also be interested to know if there are other options available…

People make things so complicated… Go to the nearest patch of relatively undisturbed native forest. Look at what is on the ground. That is what you should emulate.

Accessible texts with substance point towards some activity people can do in real life, some change they can bring about by doing a specific thing.

For example:

• Live vegan. No one is free until everyone is free.
• Plant trees. Capitalism and the state have been waging war on the forest for millennia for a reason; the whole system depends on grass.
• Plant fruit trees. If you grow your own food, you are much less dependent on the system.
• Share. Nature produces enough for everyone’s need. Share fruits, share information, and help your neighbours live more freely too.

Medium-small tree. I thought that I had photos of the leaves as well, but I can’t find them now.

For what it’s worth, I don’t like change, whether it’s in the climate or in the software that I use.
