And for some reason the FuckAI peeps love em.

Was inspired to make this after seeing some truly pathetic comments on another post here.

Edit: Wow fuck the anti-AI trolls in this community. I didn’t think it would happen but they actually went as far as trying to dox me posting a picture of my house. What the fuck. That’s beyond not okay.

And for the record, this is a pro-AI post, and this is a pro-AI community on a Pro-AI instance. I am a real leftist and I’m not hiding from that. That’s not something to be ashamed of. You know what’s something to be ashamed of? Impersonating, harassing, and Doxxing people who post AI art. Yeah I said it, Art. AI Art, AI Art, It’s a kind of art, I don’t care if you don’t agree with that you do not get to dox people over that. Ever.

The problems you’re describing have little to do with copyright

    1. Capitalists exploiting poor people and their work
    2. Capitalists exploiting the planet

Copyright is not the issue with GenAI as these problems exist regardless independently from any copyrights or AI shit, it’s just a bad excuse and does nothing but defend a bad system

Yeah, exactly! That’s what I’m trying to say in response to OP talking about “liberals” defending intellectual property, which I took to mean copyright in that case.

I feel like that’s the point of the post as well. It’s criticism of using copyright as the reason to bash on AI

I didn’t really get this impression from the post since there was nothing negative about generative AI beyond the pro-copyright argument. Frankly, it seems closer to pro-AI to me. The OP’s reply to the top-level comment doesn’t help either.
