    The total cost of the satellite network would be around US $51 billion, including launch and five years of operational expenses; a comparable terrestrial system would cost about $16 billion over the same period.

    So, for just a bit over 3 times the cost, you can have a data center which is exposed to a whole lot of risks we likely don’t know how to account for or mitigate yet. Sounds like a great idea for the techbros to burn more money on.
