I am baffled that wrestling theater exists. It was cringe to me even as a young kid.

It’s a thing people like. Everyone knows it’s staged,but it’s fun.
With the masks, this seems to be Mexican Lucha libre, which can get quite crazy (like Jesus fighting midgets or something) and quite a spectacle to beholdin person. I would completely recommend you go see a show if you’re ever in Mexico, great ambiance, greet fun
Pretty sure it’s fun for the actors. I don’t get watching it though.
