We will not get rid of car centricity with electric car centricity. Cars are to resource intense to be part of a sustainable world. People should hear the truth from time to time…

There has to be a large enough electric powered vehicles (bicycles & Etc. just are not large enough, from a bicyclist only person, who has to be lent automobiles from time to time) to meet all needs.

Does not mean everyone should own 1 or more, they should only be allowed to be used:

In car pool situations, come to each people’s location or each person’s location when needed & leave to go to the next people’s or each person’s location,

Obviously have solar cells on their bodies

      &

Fly & if need be drive on the ground

      &

      the least important-

Come in the shapes of classic automobiles (it would be cool if it customizable by a vote on the passengers, but not a must).

All of these are technologies that already exist, just separately.

Think about this, commercial air travel industry no longer need ed, fades away, huge benefits.

I am not advocating for absolutely no cars, but it shouldn’t be the default to own one. Neither should it be a necessity in order to participate in society. Car sharing is of course a good solution for the last kilometer.
