U.S. Sen John Cornyn is partnering with U.S. Sen. John Fetterman, a Pennsylvania Democrat, on legislation to stop future presidential administrations from blocking construction of new exports terminals for liquefied natural gas.

That happened under former President Joe Biden when the U.S. Department of Energy stopped permitting new LNG export terminals while it reviewed how emissions from those facilities was impacting the planet’s climate.

While Cornyn and Fetterman come from different political parties, the states they represent are the two leading producers of natural gas, representing more than 45% of the country’s total output, according to the Department of Energy.

The Biden administration’s decision to put a hold on LNG construction in 2024 drew condemnation from oil and gas companies and a number of Democrats, including U.S. Reps. Sylvia Garcia and Henry Cuellar, as well as former Dallas congressman Colin Allred.

I don’t understand why they keep talking about Fetterman as if he’s in another party. Sure he’s in the room, but he sure as fuck doesn’t belong there.

It’s pretty easy to see why Fetterman is being a traitor and giving votes to republicans. We now know who signs his checks too, this isn’t from the stroke.

For whatever reason I feel a lot more bitter hatred towards guys like him than the people who are just overtly cartoonishly evil
