    To be fair, Canada has a boat load more experience, existing infrastructure, and a fraction of the population.

      Infrastructure is nothing, it’s just hiring people to count and people to observe, it all happens at the same place and you do it at the same place as people vote. Population doesn’t matter either, you just have more districts to count, and more people counting.

        You’re literally talking about Infrastructure when you say “just hire more people”. There’s also a lot more to it than “just have more bodies” and simplifying it to that point is actually problematic.
