It was called Missionary Dating when I was growing up in an incredibly religious family. The goal was to date a non-christian so you could convert them. Then you would be “equally yoked” before you got hitched. No joke.

Yeah, that’s stupid and wasting time. I wouldn’t say it’s sinful to date non Christians, but it’s definitely sinful to marry them. Therefore missionary dating is a gamble. Ironically, I have heard of guys who converted, and the first time they went to Church was because they knew a girl they had a crush on had the requirement that they were Christians, so they gave it a chance. But they weren’t missionary dating, it was moreso them being led into church by having a crush on a parishoner, lol.

Christians also aren’t supposed to engage in fornication, so you know. Expecting Christians in Western countries (don’t know about elsewhere) to follow their religion is generally futile.

Christians shouldn’t do a lot of things that they do. The worst part about it is that they still insist that they are morally superior to everyone around them, because God said so.

Tragically, they believe that the Magic Bird gives them superior wisdom and intellect to the secular. This makes them especially stupid and hypocritical.

God doesn’t say Christians are morally superior, Christians are sinful like everybody else. Many Christians are worse people than some atheists. It’s not about works. It’s a difficult world, I understand that. If you fail, you pick up your cross and keep moving forward. It happens. We all sin. We should try and avoid it, but we know we can’t. That’s why Jesus died for us.
