Isn’t the original post just a visualization of the history of the Chinese empire? Not sure how there was any game being played.

It might not be the best idea to expect this to 1:1 emulate history - ICE is being set up to be both the SA and SS, but neither exactly resemble the former groups. It’s a useful metaphor, but overfitting is possibly a trap for us to fall into.

Ah yes - subjecting ideological refugeess to arbitrary purity tests, a true classic.

Perhaps strain would be a better word than drain - it would still be a short-mid term financial burden to take even a tiny fraction of the sane population from the US, it’s a big country. Sure would be nice if it could be arranged though…
